What I read this week
1)
What was the biggest surprise for you in the
reading? In other words, what did you read that stood out the most as different
from your expectations?
I think the
biggest surprise for me is how many arenas of creativity there actually are.
When thinking about creativity I would never think of material, inner, etc.
2)
Identify at least one part of the reading
that was confusing to you.
I was slightly
confused by the types of innovation because I felt like they all overlapped and
kind of went with each other.
3) If you were able to ask two questions to the author, what would you
ask? Why?
1. What is the
best way to accumulate knowledge and incubate it? Are there different ways to
do so?
2. Which arena
of creativity is the most commonly used? I feel like its important to know
which ones we use and which we need to develop better.
4)
Was there anything you think the author was
wrong about? Where do you disagree with what she or he said? How?
I feel like
usually in books they try to give a one way fits all to how to develop your
thinking but obviously that is not the case at all.
